Circular Transformation
During circular economy transformation, companies need to innovate with circular principles in mind. There are three types of circular innovations with processing degrees of complexity: process innovation, product innovation, and business model innovation.

Process innovation primarily involves production as well as collecting and recycling the waste created during the production process. Product innovation is more complicated given its broad impact on the value cycle: design, product development, procurement, how customers use the product, and how the company can collect and recycle finished goods. Business model innovation is the most challenging concept towards a more circular economy because it can change the entire value cycle, including how the product is being sold.

CPV introduces solutions on all three types of innovation, touching all aspects of the value cycle and, at the same time, ensuring compliance to EU regulations like the Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR), Waste Framework Directive, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Green Claims Directive and the Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive (CSRD).
